Set up and label a speed dial for quick calling

Programming a Speed Dial

  1. Press the Phone button to view your first page of call appearances.
  2. Scroll down to the third page of call appearances by pressing the Down Arrow of the navigation wheel twice.
  3. Press the Abr Program call appearance button.
  4. Scroll to a call appearance page with an SD call appearance by pressing the Down Arrow of the navigation wheel.
  5. Press the SD call appearance button (you may see more than one SD call appearance, select any of them that you want).
  6. Use the dial pad to enter the number for the speed dial.
  7. Press the # button to save the speed dial.
  8. The speed dial should now appear in your list of call appearances.
  9. Exit ABR Programming mode by pressing the Speaker button.
  10. To use the speed dial, press the corresponding call appearance button.

Personalizing Call Appearance Labels

  1. Press the Home button.
  2. Select Options & Settings on the screen pictured below by pressing the OK button.
  3. Press the Down Arrow of the navigation wheel until Application Settings is highlighted.
  4. Press the OK button.
  5. Press the Down Arrow of the navigation wheel until Personalize Labels is highlighted.
  6. Press the OK button.
  7. Press the Up Arrow or the Down Arrow of the navigation wheel to label name that you want to change.
  8. When you have selected the label that you want to change, press the Edit softkey.
  9. Use the dial pad to enter the new label.
  10. Press the Save softkey.
  11. Return to the main phone screen by pressing the Phone button.
